Who runs the spirit wear program?

The spirit wear shop is run entirely by PTA parent volunteers, and is funded through the PTA. We do our best to run sales and pack orders as quickly as possible, but timelines and deliveries depend on how many volunteers we have available. Want to help?! Please click here for volunteer info! 

Can spirit wear be worn as uniform?

Yes!! Spirit wear shirts, jackets, and sweatshirts can be worn as uniform. Please note, navy bottoms are the only approved uniform bottoms.

How can we order spirit wear before school starts?

We run an online presale in August - this is the only way to guarantee your sizing/design preferences for the new school year! Check the website and socials in August for the info to order. Orders can be shipped home or picked up before school starts during our back to school pick up event.

How can we order spirit wear during the school year?

We'll order as much inventory as budget allows, and open the BurchamPTA.org Spirit Wear Store the first week of each month once school starts. Sizing and design selection during the school year will be limited.

When will I receive my online order?

Orders placed through the PTA online store will be packed weekly by volunteers and sent home with teachers. Check those backpacks on Friday!

How can we order jackets?

Jackets are too expensive to be stocked year round in our store so they are preorder only. If you missed the summer pre-order, no worries! We'll host a winter restock presale and jackets can be ordered then. Follow on socials and check the principal's weekly message for info.

Will there be more pre-sales during the school year?

We hope so! Budget and volunteer permitting, we're planning for a spirit wear contest shirt in the fall and a winter pre-order for jackets and additional sizing on inventory. We'll try to sneak in some new designs too if we can!

Where does the money go from my purchase?

Spirit wear pricing includes only a 30% profit margin. Our staff is able to buy spirit wear at cost (30% off) and all new staff members receive a free shirt! The profits we collect from sales helps to cover this perk for staff. Having a small profit margin helps support PTA programming, as well as allows us to have a small on hand inventory for year round sales, without being upside down on cost.
